Data Security

May 2nd, 2008 by admin

So naturally I’ve been researching Computer Data Security on my own, hoping I can find a way to sell the idea to the execs. Perhaps a scary news story will wake them up
The squeaky wheel gets the grease, and I’ll be the one on the hot seat if a breach ever does occur, so there’s not much choice in the matter.

EULAs are long, confusing and sometimes deceptive too. Not many people have the patience and urge to read through them. But legally everything has to be disclosed in a EULA. They have a legal standing and if software seems to do malicious activity which is not mentioned in the EULA, the software vendor is liable to be sued. So read next time read your EULA carefully.

December 3rd, 2007 by admin

Hackers are a very resourceful lot. They do significant damage to the economy in terms of lost production and can jeopardize the financial future of people by stealing identity information and damaging credit ratings when they use up the poor victim’s credit. Ethical Hackers or Church Security Software experts are charged with coming up with solutions to prevent hacking. However, the other side often sets the terms and rules for the game and the Security Software firms have been playing catch-up.
