Everyday Bug Tracking
September 22nd, 2008 by admin
I am sure that most of you who have used a Microsoft program, and who of us haven’t at one time or another, have seen a window pop up from time to time telling us an error has occurred and has ask us if we want to report it. This is a classic example of bug tracking. While monitoring defects in a program happens mainly when a product is being developed there is always some need, whether it be a big need or a small one to keep tabs and offer fixes and help users with software difficulties with existing software.

What Are Smart Filters In The Adobe Imaging Programs?
September 20th, 2008 by admin
Adobe had created a way that users of their imaging programs can play around with an image without being afraid of losing the original picture. These toys, as we can call them, are called smart filters. In the Adobe Photoshop CS3, there are filters that allow the user to add and adjust and remove these filters from any image without saving the image or starting over with the original image. These filters can include sizing, colors, blurriness effects, special effects to the pictures, along with many other different types of filters that the user can either change the picture with or make the picture look better.

A Great Router For Your Cisco CCIE Lab
September 6th, 2008 by admin
If you are getting any of the different Cisco certifications that are available today it is a very good idea to have your own lab. And in my mind the best router you can have for your cisco ccie lab is the Cisco 2612. It is not the cheapest with a cost of around $199 and comes with an 8MB Flash and 32MB DRAM. It is not a modular router and you have the opportunity to add more modules to it such as additional serial ports, ISDN ports and Ethernet ports if you wish. It will save you money long term because you will not have to buy different routers for each certification that you seek.

Personal Data Protection Recommendation
September 5th, 2008 by admin
For the PC user like myself who values the data on her computer and is interested in offsite backup service, but doesn’t have much (if any) disposable income, I recommend Xdrive Online Backup. Xdrive Online Backup has freeware you can use to protect 5 GB of your most important files. 5 GB might not sound like much, considering hard drives can hold well over 100 GB of information, but 5 GB is more than a whopping 2500 documents, 1000 photos, or 1250 songs that you didn’t have protected before. Plus, there are tools that make files easy to manage, preview, and share. For free, it would almost be foolish not to use this secure service.

Adel Fingerprint Lock: Security Can Be An Issue
August 31st, 2008 by admin
The fingerprint lock series from Adel has garnered a mixed response. The lock is easy to install and use and is being appreciated for its user-friendly nature. But on the other hand a major loophole witnessed in the Adel fingerprint lock is breach of security. Many experts are of the belief that to break open such fingerprint locks is not that difficult a task. The main purpose of any lock is to offer security. And with the lock not scoring too high on this aspect, it’s overall utility is being questioned.

Looking To Buy Land, Where Is A Good Place For Free Aerial Maps?
August 29th, 2008 by admin
I am planning on buying some property out in the country. I have been out to see it and walk over it in person, but I would like to find a site that offers free aerial maps so I can get an idea to the overall geography of the property and the area in general. The property is in Campbell County, Kentucky, which is the southeastern corner of the state if that makes a difference. It will be near Cumberland Gap, if anyone is familiar with that place from their history books. Any advice or positive comments are very welcome.

Compare Costs For Cisco Certification Training
August 26th, 2008 by admin
The costs for any type of higher education can get very high. It is a good idea to shop around before you enroll in any course to do your cisco certification. Make sure that the school provides you with a complete breakdown of their training costs. If you are looking to use one where the price quoted is all inclusive then make sure that they don't surprise you with any additional costs towards the end of your training which could result in you being unable to complete it. Take your time and make sure your decision is a wise one.

About Chemical Storage Containers
August 20th, 2008 by admin
The time has come to get more info on Chemical Storage Containers.
Proper chemical storage is vital for safety, of course, so it’s our top job for our new lab.
I’ve been researching Justrite Safety Cabinets on the net, trying to find the best option available.
.
At some point I’m just going to have to decide. Hopefully I’ll make the right choice.
Your comments are welcome as always.

Issues With Gaming Motherboards
August 17th, 2008 by admin
In my quest to build the ultimate gaming PC, I’ve been researching Gaming Motherboards.
I think the Intel X48 Express chipset might be just what I need to push my new machine’s performance over the edge. So I’m considering it closely.
I’m hoping to have the new rig ready in time for the next LAN party. I can’t wait to see my friends drool.
I’ll keep you posted.
