Anti-spyware Packages: SpywareBlaster

At the time when spyware was a new threat and the companies were focusing more on removal part, they did not include real time scanners in anti-spyware packages. The first anti-spyware package to include real time protection is SpywareBlaster. The working technique behind this program is that it blacklist the CLSID of all the known spyware and adware programs. This means that they can not be installed on a computer which is protected by SpywareBlaster. This anti-spyware product is available as freeware for non commercial users. This version lacks the auto update feature which is only available in the paid version.
