There is no doubt to say that data mining warehousing helps a lot in business as it is the process of assembling, managing and mining data from several sources for the purpose of answering business questions. This results in answers to previously unanswerable questions. A data warehouse is a subject-oriented, integrated, time varying and non-volatile store of data.

In short a data warehouse is a collection of data that is used primarily in organizational decision making.
