I am sure that most of you who have used a Microsoft program, and who of us haven’t at one time or another, have seen a window pop up from time to time telling us an error has occurred and has ask us if we want to report it. This is a classic example of bug tracking. While monitoring defects in a program happens mainly when a product is being developed there is always some need, whether it be a big need or a small one to keep tabs and offer fixes and help users with software difficulties with existing software.
