It’s a Update

February 23rd, 2008 by admin

I just love doing a search on some Linux Distro, such as Ubuntu,

and looking for something like "is Ubuntu better than Vista" , just to see what comes up.

There's lots of ideas on this sort of thing, where linux software  is compared to the Mighty M$.

Some of them are even supported by the M$ itself. Which of course, is biased towards Vista.

Lots of the searches have Linux above Vista. The biggest issues seem to be with drivers,

but most of them are installed in  the core linux itself. So if the device is plugged in, then it should

just work. No drivers required. However, linux won't suit too many gamers, for example, as they are written

primarily for the M$ product. But, for the average family/business internet user, then Linux is more than adequate.

Linux, can only get better, unlike Vista, which is getting more like bloatware, everyday. Now even more,

with the update SP1 on the horizon.   and then some.
