Booming

September 22nd, 2008 by admin

While many people like the idea of using a cell headset at their place of business, most people are on the move constantly, and need to feel as if they’re coming through loud and clear.  This is where boom headsets come in.  Booms can amplify the sounds being produced, as well as diminish unwanted noise from the background.  Models such as the Jabra EarWave Boom wrap around the ear and funnel sound through its earpiece to create a nice level of sound quality.  The Plantronics MX500 has a boom that is near the mouth, yet manages to stay out of the way.  However, this is a model that’s more suited for indoor use than outdoors.

This is a classic example of bug tracking. While monitoring defects in a program happens mainly when a product is being developed there is always some need, whether it be a big need or a small one to keep tabs and offer fixes and help users with software difficulties with existing software.

September 20th, 2008 by admin

Adobe had created a way that users of their imaging programs can play around with an image without being afraid of losing the original picture. These toys, as we can call them, are called smart filters. In the Adobe Photoshop CS3, there are filters that allow the user to add and adjust and remove these filters from any image without saving the image or starting over with the original image. These filters can include sizing, colors, blurriness effects, special effects to the pictures, along with many other different types of filters that the user can either change the picture with or make the picture look better.

Which Certifications Are Most Sought By Employers?

September 19th, 2008 by admin

I am trying to decide which area to specialize in and what Microsoft Certification I should get first. Is there any easy way to find out which Microsoft certifications are the most sought after by employers? I want to get the most useful ones first so that I can get started on a computer job, and then continue to upgrade my skills as time and money allow. Can anyone recommend a good certification to start off with? Or do I have to get them in a certain order? I am hoping I can get the most useful ones first and then get others later, but the important thing is to start gaining the skills I need.

Embedded Software Testing Design Can Present Many Challenges

September 14th, 2008 by admin

Many of the experts in the world of software testing and software design would agree that certain types of software provide rather unique challenges, especially when compared to other types of software. For instance, embedded software testing design can be one of the more difficult testing challenges, as many experts would agree. There is no one method that will be foolproof with embedded software testing, particularly the automated software testing that has become a popular option for developers these days. That is why it is best to use a widely-based approach that will cover the most ground possible, which in turn will find the most bugs and issues.
